Creator Intelligence ("the Service") is a personal analytics tool for TikTok content creators. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data We Collect

When you connect your TikTok account, we collect and store:

  • Your TikTok display name and avatar URL
  • Your TikTok open ID (unique account identifier)
  • Profile information: bio description, verification status, and profile links
  • Account statistics: follower count, following count, and total likes
  • Video metadata: titles, descriptions, durations, share URLs, and creation dates
  • Video performance metrics: view counts, like counts, comment counts, and share counts
  • OAuth tokens required to access TikTok's API on your behalf

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Display your video performance analytics within the Service
  • Track metric changes over time to show trends
  • Maintain your authenticated session

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your data to any third parties.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. OAuth tokens are stored securely and are only used to communicate with TikTok's API on your behalf.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with TikTok's API to retrieve your content data. Your use of TikTok is governed by TikTok's Terms of Service and TikTok's Privacy Policy.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete all of your stored data at any time using the "Delete My Data" option in the application Settings, or by contacting us at support@rootsoft.org. Upon deletion, all videos, metrics, profile data, and account information will be permanently removed from our systems.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Revoke the Service's access to your TikTok account at any time via TikTok's settings
  • Request a copy of your stored data
  • Request deletion of all your stored data
  • Delete your account and all associated data through the application

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
